
Tim Stiles, a technician from T H White Land Rover, Swindon, fought off competition from over 500 other Land Rover service technicians to reach the UK Finals of the prestigious Technician of the Year Awards.
Tim successfully passed two rounds of technical questions before reaching the finals where he spent a day at the Land Rover Technical Academy undergoing a rigorous selection of practical tests.
At the Final Awards Dinner, Tim’s prize was presented by Quentin Wilson, former presenter of BBC Top Gear motoring programme. Tim was accompanied to the Finals Awards Dinner by Martin Young, Service Manager of the Wootton Bassett dealership.
Martin said “It was a great privilege to represent the company and support Tim at the Awards ceremony, Tim is a valuable member of our service team and it's great that he has been recognised for his hard work”
Tim, who has worked for the company for 23 years, is a level 4 ATA technician as well as being a Land Rover Master Technician.
